Created in photoshop using mainly softbrushes and paths. trying to develop this current style to see how far I can take it. having fun

Nice design and colors, but check the anatomy and a bit more work in composition could be nice!

Great painting work. I assume you didnt go for a realistic one, but I agree the anatomy could be improved.
Its still a very nice piece of art.

The idea for the picture is great.
The templar looks well done in terms of clothing and armour and other details.
But the anatomy, as other people said, is a bit incorrect and as well as the behavior of the clothing too. I suggest for future picture you pratice more on that.
The colours looks nice, i specially like the Shield and the texture you putted in the wall.
Overall it's quite a nice picture, +6

thanks for everyones crits and comments, i will take them all on board. I think i was too eager to get painting on this one and neglected the anatomy of the initlal sketch - a basic error! oh well on to the next...

Nice work, though I agree with the critiques. Also watch the shadow edges - they are mostly too soft. Try shadows with harder edges.
